Young Capital win opening match

Young Capital defeated Muslim Club by seven wickets in the inaugural match of the NBP-ICA Inter-Club Championship here at the Margalla Ground on Sunday.

Junaid Shafqat, manager National Bank of Pakistan I-10 branch, was the chief guest on the occasion and inaugurated the tournament. 

Muslim Club was bowled out for 128 in 32.5 overs with off-spinner Muhammad Nadeem grabbing four wickets for 17 runs.  Muslim Club’s middle-order batsman Mohammad Yasin was top scorer with 28 while opening batsman Samad Bin Aleem made a 29-ball 22 with five boundaries.  Young Capital needed just 17 overs to achieve the target for the loss of only three wickets. Javed Akhtar hit better than run a ball 33 while Wazarat Shah scored 31 off 33 balls.
