Who set Pakistan on fire?

Our dear fellow men have no way but to demonstrate unity, faith and discipline amidst a reign of terror let loose by whatever you name them. What a solid and hard nation have they emerged? Pakistanis are writing history of their survival on the map of the world some forces are now out to fade it.
What a critical time they are passing through when friends in need have closed eyes. In home and abroad what have Pakistanis gained. Nothing except cries and tears, suicide bombers and statements of consolations, the answer is. Who has set Afghanistan and Pakistan on fire?
Have you not heard the flames of fire in Afghanistan, if not put out, would one day envelop Pakistan. Everybody heard but no body listened. I do not want to hurt my already hurt fellow Pakistanis. Let me take you to Afghanistan, place of the root cause, where whistles are blown to begin games after games under the garb of this fire play. I say fire play as it is fire play for them.
Our so called friends have turned our friends into enemy and made our enemy their friends. What a national interest. What a friendship.Nobody should blame Karzai. Whatever he is doing in Kabul is nothing but his struggle for his survival. Let set aside his oft repeated anti Islamabad statements for the time being. His links with Pakistan, whom he always calls second home, have not been delinked. Several recipients are of his contacts and phonic calls to Peshawar and elsewhere in NWFP on tragic occasions. His PR made him Afghan monarch from petty PRO. He has done and still doing for US masters what Dr Najib had done for his Soviet masters. Listen job done for US is thankless. If you believe you better have a cursory look in the past. Yes bitter past of Pakistan. General Ayub Khan was humiliated and deposed. General Yahya Khan placed on wheel chair as defeated general. General Ziaul Haq was torn apart in air crash. Left was General Pervez Musharraf, the near and dear rather darling of the Bush’s White House. He too was forced to resign and quit President House and later Army House. So is Karzai. His government is blamed for corruption. His elections are called fraudulent and bogus. His government officials are charged alleged for abuse of power. All these came from the mouth of those who had installed Karzai. Still Karzai enjoys the US blessing. Karzai simply does what he asked for. Elections are no solution to Afghan problem. The problem is neither US nor the West is coming to that. History repeats itself. What Soviet General had written about Afghan situation to Gobachov in 80′s is a repeat by the US General go Obama.
US general says, “State institutions are weakened, power brokers taking malign actions, corruption and abuse of power at official level is widespread and ISAF is making errors”. Gorbachove paid no heed to his General so does Obama as apparently seemed. Now it is entirely up to Obama whether he retreats his forces with humiliation similar to those of Soviets or pull out with honour and dignity from friendly Afghanistan and leaving Kabul to fight against terror through their own modus operandi like Pakistan rather than staying in hostile Afghanistan As for the Afghan army, if at all it does exist, it has left the fight against terror to the US and allied forces as the regular Afghan army had done so with Soviet forces against Mujahideen.Let us come to the much criticized and controversial polls in Afghanistan. As ballot and bullet do not go side by side the Afghan polls have little credibility.Abdullah Abdullah claimed he won the August 20 polls.
Karzai insisted he is the winner. Abdullah blamed Karzai for rigging. Karzai denied. Power share efforts bore no fruit. Masters found out solution in the Nov 7 runoff programme. Karzai succumbed to US pressure and win heart of Obama. Will runoff work for Afghans or US and allied it is yet to be determined but runoff decision has strengthened Abdullah’s hands to say the least.
