There was no crisis during Pakistan Muslim League Q government

The PML-Q Punjab leaders have said the rulers are just making fun of the poor by chanting the slogans of good governance, whereas no relief has been provided to the poverty-stricken people.

According to a press release issued on Monday, PML-Q legislator Amir Sultan Cheema said the so-called good governance of the present government could be estimated from the fact that dozens of people were deprived of their belongings in broad daylight.

He said the rapid sale of atta continued in private markets during the ongoing food crisis but there was no check over it. He said the incidents of collective suicides by the poor people were on rise but no attention was being paid towards the issue. Former provincial minister Ejaz Shafi said during the five years of the PML-Q government, there was no food crisis and Punjab used to fulfil the food requirements of other provinces. But, he said, the present government had failed to overcome the food shortage and other problems. He said honourable citizens were publicly being insulted by the present rulers, adding the government was depriving people of their jobs.
