Shahbaz Sharif says he is not an Indian agent

Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that he is not an Indian agent , which should be a problem for meeting Chief of Army Staff.

Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif expressed these views while addressing an emergency press conference here in Punjab House on Tuesday. Member National Assembly and Provincial Assembly from Rawalpindi were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister said that his meeting with Chief of Army Staff was a routine matter. He said that PML-N was against the dictatorship and it will continue to oppose it in future too.

Chief Minister said that meeting over developmental projects in Rawalpindi was held to review the progress on projects. and Murree expressway would cost Rs3 billion. Government had also reviewed its alternate projects which would cost less and government will award tender for the construction of Murree Expressway to NESPAK. “Ten underpasses will also be constructed at the expressway and project will be completed within two years, ” he added.

Mian Shahbaz Sharif further said that Cardiac hospital was being built in Rawalpindi which would be ready within two years.

He said that said that since poor man cannot afford Aitcheson College. Therefore, government Danish schools were also being built throughout the Punjab, which would brining revolution in the education fields.

More than 4000 schools are being connected through internet and they will be provided IT Labs. It will be the responsibility of international IT companies like Microsoft. He said that Vocational educational schools are also being opened in Punjab.

He further said that air conditioners were also being installed in hospitals throughout Punjab with the cost of Rs2.50 billion.

In response to a question he said that PML-N never escaped from election, and clarified that Federal Government has postponed election on the reports of the intelligence agencies.
