Preston University donates Rs 1 million in Imran Khan Relief fund

Preston University donates over Rs1 million and three trucks of daily used items in Imran Khan Relief fund for the rehabilitation of flood affected people.

University Chancellor Dr, Abdul Basit presented the cheque to Imran Khan here in simple ceremony at Islamabad Campus of Preston University.

Addressing to the ceremony Dr. Abdul Basit said that more than 20 million people of the country have been devastated by the recent flood. He said that it is our duty to help them and take every possible step for the rehabilitation of affectees.

Dr. Basit appreciated the efforts of Imran Khan and presented the Cheque and three trucks of commodities and assured him of the university continued support in all his endeavors directed towards rehabilitation of the millions of poor of his country who have been totally shattered by the recent catastrophic flood.

He also appreciated the efforts of staff and students of the varsity, who had financially contributed in fund raising campaign whole-heartedly.
