President confers non-operational military awards for PAF

President of Pakistan has conferred Non-Operational Military awards upon 30 Officers of Pakistan Air Force on the occasion of 62nd Independence Day of Pakistan.

These awards include 02 Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), 13 Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), 12 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military), 01 Sitara-i–Basalat and 02 Tamgha-i-Basalat.

Pakistan Air Force officers , whose names were announced for the respective Non-Operational Military Awards, include, AM Muhammad Hassan GD (P) and AVM Qasim Masood Khan Engg for Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), while Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) was awarded to Air Commoderes, Muhammad Aslam Pervaiz GD (P), Tanweer Nazim Siddiqui GD (P), Sohail Ahmad GD (P), Ahmad Salam Khan GD (P), Muhammad Nawaz Engg, and Nazar Hayat Engg. Also included are Group captains Nisar Ahmad Engg, Nisar Ahmad Kingravi Engg, Inam-Ul-Haq Raja Engg, Muhammad Adnan Khan Log Capt Sayyid Qammar Abbas Shah, Capt Muhammad Shafiq AD, Sajid Waheed A&SD.

Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) was awarded to Group Captains ,Tanweer Ashraf Bhatti GD (P)Amer Bashir GD (P), Fazal-Ur-Rehman GD (P), Imran-Ul-Huda AD, Wing Commanders Sohail Saeed Naik GD (P), Syed Imran Majid Ali GD (P), Mahmood Murtaza Engg, Sajid Rashid Engg, Tahir Ahmad Engg AD Anwar-Ul-Haq AD, Zia-Ur-Rehman A&SD, Muhammad Asif Shahzad Edu.

The award of Sitara-i-Basalat went to Gp Capt Amir Masud GD (P), while Wing Commanders , Ghulam Abbas Ghumman GD (P), and S Fauad Masud Hatmi GD (P) were awarded Tamgha-i-Basalat
