Pakistan to get 4 US Cobra helicopters

The Pentagon has approved sale of arms worth $1.01 billion to four United States allies, including Pakistan,

Geo News reported on Saturday. Pentagon’s Defence Security Corporation Agency said that the four US allies included Pakistan, France, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the channel said, adding that Pakistan would also get AH-1F Cobra helicopters and associated spare parts under the deal. The Pentagon said that the deal would help Pakistan fight Taliban and other terrorists more effectively in its Tribal Areas.
