Pakistan Navy to get new ships from US

Pakistan Navy is in the process of acquiring Oliver Hazard Perry Class Ships from USA. The ship will be named PNS ALAMGIR (F-260). This will be third ship in Pakistan Navy to bear this name. Ambassador of Pakistan to USA H.E Husain Haqqani will be chief guest on the occasion, says a press release received here on Tuesday from Washington DC.

Oliver Hazard Perry Class Frigates are being operated by many navies in the world to undertake a number of maritime operations at sea.
