Muslim social network launches
World Friday, February 26th, 2010Radical Middle Way, a government funded global grassroots initiative has launched its new site today.
The site has been developed to help extend its reach to Britain’s 2 million Muslims.
The site is aimed at young Muslims, and provides a social networking platform to debate relevant issues affecting them in today’s society.
Members communicate with like minded individuals, learn details of public lectures, seminars, workshops and cultural programmes all of which are grounded in Islamic scholarship, tradition and civilisation.
XD has redeveloped the Radical Middle Way site and social networking platform.
The new site includes a multilingual functionality enabling members to communicate around the world.
XD will then roll out an online campaign to extend the reach through a combination of SEO, social networking and partnership programmes which target young Muslims (18-30) in the UK.
Managing Director of XD, said: “We are very pleased to be involved in this initiative. Radical Middleway is a hugely popular social site with around 20,000 users connecting and communicating with each other every month. We have make this even more popular by changing the look and feel of the site to make it more appealing to the younger generation.”
Ahmed Musa of Radical Middleway said: “XD impressed us with their proposals for redeveloping the site and marketing to young Muslims in the UK. Radical Middle Way provides a platform for members to connect with each other as well as providing news on specific events, lectures and teachings from key speakers. It has become pivotal to the development of the Muslim community and we are keen to develop the site and welcome young members to join in the discussions.”
