Murree attracting large number of tourists

A good number of domestic tourists from different parts of the country are daily visiting various resorts of Murree.

The resorts including Pindi Point, Mall Road and Ayubia have become the source of attraction for such tourists.

Murree resorts have all the necessary latest facilities for the visitors. The Malka-a-Kohisar has a panoramic view of Kashmir hills.

Mostly families visit the Murree on weekend to enjoy the holidays.

A visitor Ali Iftikhar, who stayed most of his time abroad, said Murree had been developed as per international standards.

He said Murree has all the facilities for enjoyment of the visitors.

The local administration may also develop some other places like the Chattar Park for providing healthy recreational facilities to the people, he suggested.

Pindi Point is a place of attraction for visitors where hundreds of people visit daily and take the beautiful view of Rawalpindi besides enjoying chair lift.

A visitor Bushra Irum said Pindi Point was very attractive as it has been designed beautifully. She lauded the civic body for construction of such attractive picnic spots at different places, saying Muree has several splendid places like Ayubia and Kashmir Point.

CDA invites tenders for sector I-15: The Capital Development Authority has invited tenders from international firms for development of much awaited sector I-15. The development work of the sector would be carried out with total cost of Rs 40 billion.

Sources in the civic agency said the CDA opened the sector for low income people in 2005 and 5,500 plots and 8,000 flats were allotted to them but so far no development work has been carried. Now the CDA has invited tenders from international firms.
