Italy keen to cooperate with Pakistans stone industry

Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Vincenzo Prati has vowed to enhance cooperation with Pakistan by introducing new techniques and modern technology in the marble and granite industry of Pakistan.

He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of ‘Marble Mosaic Exhibition’ arranged by Pakistan Stone Development Company at Aabpara Community Centre here Saturday. Vincenzo Prati said that cooperation between the two countries in marble industry would not only help promote mutual relationship but also boost the local industry of Pakistan. He admired the exhibition and said that Italy could share the latest techniques with Pakistan in stone industry.

Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) Chairman Ihsan Ullah Khan said that PASDEC’s mission is to develop Pakistan’s stone industry on modern techniques and to introduce the marble products worldwide. He said that the Italian cooperation would be beneficial for the industry. He said that the introduction of modern techniques and equipment would help contribute to the national exchequer and would raise the demand of marble products of Pakistan all over the world.
