Indian Army troops murder 2 women after molesting them in Indian Occupied Kashmir

In Indian Occupied Kashmir, thousands of people held forceful anti-India demonstrations in Shopian, today, against the molestation and subsequent killing of two women in the area.

The martyred women included an eleventh class student. The authorities have imposed curfew in the town to prevent large-scale protests, reports.

Demonstrators told media men that the troops had abducted the women last evening. Several persons were injured when Indian troops resorted to brute force to disperse the protesters, who were raising high-pitched anti-India slogans. Situation in the area is stated to be tense.

Meanwhile, the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited Pampore and expressed solidarity with the family of a youth, who was crushed to death by an Indian Army vehicle on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion he deplored that Indian troops were engaged in gross human rights violations in the occupied territory.

The JKLF-R in a statement issued in Srinagar said that killing of innocent civilians and house arrests of pro-movement leaders and activists in occupied Kashmir could not dampen the spirit of people to continue their liberation struggle.

Hurriyet leaders, Syed Ali Gilani, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and Muhammad Saleem Nunnaji continued to remain under house arrest, today.
