Hamid Mir and Khalid Khawaja

As an ordinary citizen, I believe that both Khalid Khawaja and Hamid Mir are men of the same side; both being pro-Islamic and pro-Pakistan.
However, difference of opinion or misunderstandings can crop up anytime. I have heard the audio recording which is supposed to be of Hamid Mir. Let us suppose it is really that of Hamid Mir, I do not see the big hue and cry about it. Many politicians and journalists accuse each other of liaisons in talk shows every day, whether true or false. Nobody goes after them with a court petition.
I personally think there is a bigger game here of eliminating the rightist forces in the country. First Sir Khalid Khawaja is eliminated (May Allah SWT grant him martyrdom) and now Sir Hamid Mir is being framed to be eliminated. I think, it is a puny game.

Most of Hamid Mir supporters are claiming that he didnt say anything against Islam or Pakistan. Secondly, they say that journalists normally do that. To them, I must say that journalists normally take information and provide it to public. In audio tape, he is clearly giving information to Punjabi Taliban rather than seeking information. Moreover, it was not a normal journalistic conversation. He was clearly trying to provoke other man to harm KK. It’s not just about Hamid Mir or any other individual, it’s about how the whole “particular” Media giant was created, during Zia’s time, when the liberal thinkers and intellects were blacked out from all newspapers and state run TV at the time. People need to reject this media monster and opt for other moderate if not center left choices. So are there any???
