Abram and his seed were given land – “Now lift up your eyes and look northward and southward and eastward and westward from the place where you are;for all the land which you see I will give to you and to your seed forever. And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth,so that if a man can count the dust of the earth, then your seed also will be counted.” Genesis 13:14 – 16.

As Ishmael the father of the Arab nations was of Abrams seed then whatever land Abram was given was also given to the Arab people. Besides I wouldn’t count those who call themselves Jews to be so numerous so as to be likened uncountable as the dust of the earth.
