Dr. Mohamad Mossadaq was elected prime minister of Iran as result was a democratic election though to the surprise of King Reza Shah’s two close allies – the US and Israel. When Dr. Mossadaq nationalized the British oil company – he was thrown out in 1953 by a military coup enginerred by the US and Israeli embassies in Tehran.

In 2009 elections in Lebanon – in order to defeat Islamic Resistance Hizb’Allah – the US, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt spent hundreds of million dollars to defeat Hizb’Allah which 30,000 Israeli soldiers could not do during 34-day war in 2006. In the end – Hizb’Allah and its Christian and Druz allies received 53% of the votes – but could not form the government due to colonial MP quota system.

In June 2009 – When incumbent candidate Dr. Ahmadinejad defeated his chief rival, Mousavi, fair and square by receiving more than 62% of total vote. On his victory, US secretary of State, Hilary Clinton (an AIPAC appointee) remarked: “So we were doing a lot to really empower the protestors without getting in the way. And we’re continuing to speak out and support the opposition…”

In Honduras, where democratically elected president Manuel Zelaya was ousted in a pro-American miltary coup and forcibly depoerted another country – Richard Verma, the Zionist assistant secretary for legislative affairs, commented: “Our policy and strategy in engagement is not based on supporting a particular politician or individual…”

I suppose the above few historical facts should be enough for a rational readers to judge what kind of ‘democracy’ the US administeration is interested to sell to the non-western countries. Let us not make an issue of the fact that some of American presidents were put into White House by the Supreme Court and not the American voters.
