China donates $1m for earthquake victims

The Ambassador of Peoples Republic of China H.E. Mr. Luo Zahao called on President Asif Ali Zardari in the Presidency on Thursday and presented a cheque of one million dollars on behalf of the Chinese government for the earthquake victims of Balochistan.

Presenting the cheque the Ambassador said that the Chinese President and the Prime Minister and the people of China were grieved over the tragedy. He also conveyed the condolences of the Chinese government to the bereaved families.

President Asif Ali Zardari thanked the Chinese government for showing concern over the tragedy and extending assistance for the quake victims. He said that the government and the people of Pakistan deeply appreciated this gesture of Chinese government.
