Charity bazaar at Indonesian embassy

On the behalf of Indonesian embassy in Pakistan a charity bazaar was held here on Tuesday at the embassy for the economic assistance of poor and needy women.

Miss Salman Basher, chairperson of Pakistan foreign women association Taranum Basher and wife of Indonesian ambassador Madam Butar Latuconsina and other female ambassadors participated.

According to details, attires of Pakistan and Indonesia, jewelry, ornaments and other items were placed in the charity bazaar. Different items produced by the female prisoners in women crises center and Adiala jail were also placed in this charity bazaar for their exhibition.

At the occasion while talking to media Miss Butar Latuconsina said that there exists deep friendly relations between Pakistan and Indonesia and these ties would be further strengthened.

She said that the purpose to hold this charity bazaar was to grab attention of ambassadors to help the poor and needy women. she said that Indonesia would play its role for the support of women crises center.
