Australian HC lauds Pakistan Army’s role on war against terrorism

Timothy Spencer George, Australian High Commissioner on Thursday highly acclaimed the role of Armed Forces of Pakistan in war against terrorism adding Australia will support Pakistan Army thick and thin in crunch circumstances.

Australian High Commissioner expressed these views during his meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at General Headquarters on Thursday.

The visiting dignitary remained with the Chief of Army Staff for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Military Sources say that during the meeting he discussed overall security situation, efforts on war against terror, Pak-Australia cooperation, Army Chief’s next visit to Australia, defense and Army cooperation between Pakistan and Australia, Swat and Malakand Situation in depth.

The Australian High Commissioner lauded the role of Pakistan Army in war against terrorism stressing it will help in rehabilitation/ reconstruction for affectees.
