5 terrorists killed, 29 held

As many as five terrorists were killed while 29 others were apprehended by the security forces from during operation Rah-e-Raast in parts of Swat and Malakand division.
According to ISPR here on Wednesday, terrorists fired at security forces convoy moving near Kuz Chamarkand in Bajur, which was effectively responded, resultantly 5 terrorists were killed.

Security forces conducted search operations at Tanki Top near Shalkosar, Doghlai, Dagai near Shaur and apprehended 10 suspects while other 3 were rounded up from Saidu Sharif and Charbagh.

In search operation at Manglour the security forces apprehended 8 suspects and four others from Pathaney village near Sangota.

As result of security forces’ search operation at Zara Khela two suspects were apprehended and two others from Ghakhe Banda near Tutan Banda.

So far, 254,461 cash cards have been distributed amongst the IDPs of Malakand.
